Vicki and I went to Medjool for dinner last night. It's a tapas restaurant serving Mediterranean/North African/Southern European-inspired dishes. The food was excellent. The pomme frites (freshly made thick-cut potato chips with parsely) were addictive. I wish I could buy them by the bag. The pistachio crusted halibut and brined pork tenderloin were also very delicious. The desserts were disappointing. The warm chocolate cake was too dry and the nectarines were like eating jam.
